European Outdoor Week: all the routes for testing materials
During the first European Outdoor Week (May 14-19), there will be opportunities to test the brand’s products and try out the latest season’s innovations in the field, directly in their natural habitat.
There will be two dedicated moments: the Activation Days for the b2c audience (Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May) and the trade show ORBDAYS & OUTDOOR for retailers and b2b merchants (from Sunday 17 to Tuesday 19 May).
In addition to the guided activities scheduled for both events and accompanied by product managers and Alpine Guides, visitors will also be able to test the materials independently on the same routes within the Riva del Garda area. Both for the Activation Days and during the trade show, curious individuals and retailers can visit the stands of the brand partners, request a product and test it on the routes outlined by the organization, even without participating in an experience.

Brione Trail – Full
A suggestive loop that runs entirely along the ridges of Monte Brione. Starting from the Village, a short stretch of asphalt is the right warm-up before the climb. Once the mule track in the Sant’Alessandro area is reached, you quickly leave the olive grove to climb along a steep and sometimes rough path along the north side of Brione. Once you reach the top, between trench passages and old war positions, the descent is a steep and spectacular “flight” towards Lake Garda. Unforgettable landscapes and guaranteed engagement.

Bastione Trek
A short but panoramic trek that climbs above Riva del Garda along the paths leading to the Bastione. The route alternates between sections in the woods and increasingly wide views of the lake and the town below, offering a unique perspective on Upper Garda. With a concentrated elevation gain in a few kilometers, it is a perfect itinerary for a dynamic activation: an intense but accessible climb, rewarded by one of the most iconic viewpoints in the area.

Ponale Trail
A scenic itinerary that offers a breathtaking view of Lake Garda towards the Ledro Valley. The route follows the ancient road carved into the rock in the mid-19th century by Giacomo Cis, passing through historic tunnels and military fortifications like the Ponale Cut. The terrain is gravel but easy to traverse, perfect for a leisurely walk or an easy run. The final stretch, from the restaurant to the waterfall, is rocky with a steeper slope.

Foci di Varone
Starting from the Village, you walk along the lake for a few meters in an easterly direction before intercepting the cycle path following the Albola stream and immediately after the one that goes up the Varone stream. The first half, slightly uphill along the cycle path, contrasts with a more articulated second half that combines long stretches of urban pedestrian paths, finally passing through the historic center of Riva del Garda.

Running Riva – Medium
A route of about 5 km that develops entirely on pedestrian and cycle paths in their own right in the Riva del Garda area. The route crosses sections along the lake and urban green areas, connecting lakeside promenades, parks, and cycle paths with predominantly flat terrain and slight altitude variations. Running Torbole
A route of about 7.8 km that connects the Riva del Garda area with Torbole along the cycle and pedestrian network on the northern shore of Lake Garda. The trails of the trade show ORBDAYS & OUTDOOR
At this link all the trails starting from the ORBDAYS & OUTDOOR fair.
Below is a brief description of the individual itineraries.
Tenno Castle Trail
A small intermunicipal road that leads to the town of Varone. From here, a few hundred meters lead to the start of the Gola Trail. You climb vertically towards the town of Tenno along a good track that reveals the old 13th-century mule track towards the end. Once you reach the walls of the Castle, you walk around it from the back to descend towards the Magnone stream (before the descent, treat yourself to a memorable photo on the Grom benches). The loop closes near the cemetery where, following the outbound path, you return to the fairgrounds.
- Distance: 6.6 km
- Positive elevation: 323 m

Bastione Trail
A perfect mix of terrains, slopes, and landscapes. Starting from the fair, after a short steep asphalt stretch, you take the path in the Foci area which, with a mixed terrain (from path to mule track), leads to the magnificent ruins of the Venetian Bastion. A small and fast descent, always on a paved mule track, leads back to the same starting path.
- Distance: 7.2 km
- Positive elevation: 320 m
Ponale Trail
A true must-see in the area, the Ponale is among the most frequented trails in Garda Trentino, nestled between the mountains and Lake Garda. The route alternates between sections of cycle path and pedestrian path, with slopes never exceeding 9% that make it an easy but also spectacular trail thanks to an unmissable view of the lake. Along the way, the military remains dating back to the 19th century are clearly visible, including the famous Tagliata del Ponale.

- Positive elevation: 297 m
