ORBDAYS and Outdoor welcomes BSI, the German Association of the sports industry
The Riva del Garda trade show that brings together ORBDAYS and Outdoor confirms itself as a reference point for the outdoor and running sectors at an international level. Included within the first European Outdoor Week, organized by MagNet and the European Outdoor Group, the event serves as a platform for collaboration and networking among various cultures, promoting a comparative and broader business model that goes beyond national borders. This synergy between actors from different countries could not exist without a solid collaboration with foreign industry associations. Said strategic partnerships have a dual objective: on one hand, to attract leading international brands in the sector, and on the other hand, to involve highly qualified foreign retailers. A key element to support the growth and success of the edition, expanding the international dimension of the event.
Among the associations at the forefront there will also be BSI – Bundesverband der Deutschen Sportartikel-Industrie, the German industry association, of which MagNet is now a part.
The German industry association BSI also present
At the three-day event in Riva del Garda that brings together ORBDAYS and Outdoor (May 17-19, 2026), representatives from BSI, the German Federal Association of the Sporting Goods Industry will also be present. Founded in 1910, today the network of companies brings together manufacturers, distributors, and importers of German sporting goods. It includes over 170 companies corresponding to about 220 brands, including international market leaders from various sectors. The total turnover of the companies amounts to approximately 35 billion euros. The goal of BSI is to safeguard and promote the interests of the sports sector at a national, European, and international level. This is why BSI is also a member of the European Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (FESI). The areas of work of the Association, united under the slogan “Sport unites”, concern the role of sports in society, in a sustainable context, and in digitalization. The agreement between MagNet and BSI is therefore based on collaboration aimed at a structured and positive development for the entire industry, which involves an exchange of ideas between the two partners.
