Road to ORBDAYS: Rossignol is racing ahead
Making its debut at the Outdoor & Running Business Days, Rossignol will present itself in grand style with groundbreaking innovations for the world of trail running and hiking.
Entering the Trail World with Vezor
Rossignol, famous worldwide for the quality of its winter sports equipment, has launched a new era in its over-century-long history: that of trail running. After introducing technical apparel, mountain bikes, and hiking shoes, the iconic brand of the rooster has unveiled Vezor, the flagship of its very first trail running shoe collection.

Born from three years of research and development and extensive testing, Vezor was specially designed for trail runners looking for maximum performance, precision, grip, and dynamism on the most technical terrains. A lightweight, stable, and fast shoe, ideal for mid-distance races, training, or competition.
The secret behind Vezor’s performance lies in its dual-density midsole (EVA with nitrogen infusion and high rebound EVA), where the Diapazon+ plate provides protection against rough terrain and elastic rebound to enhance the stride. The upper consists of three layers: breathable mesh, dirt filter, and an internal wrapping cage, while the three insoles, two of which are removable, allow for the best foot fit. For its entry into the trail world, Rossignol chose Soles by Michelin.

The outsole ensures extreme grip on all surfaces, even the slipperiest, thanks to “Formula” technology, derived from a special manufacturing process and combined with a specific tread design developed by JV International, the global licensee for Michelin soles. The robust lug pattern ensures grip and traction, while the wide grooves offer self-cleaning. Vezor weighs 282 grams (UK size 8 for men, 231g for women’s version and UK size 5). The heel-to-toe drop is 6 millimeters, and the adaptable lacing system evenly distributes lace pressure for the best fit. Finally, the “Wedge Heel Cut” technology with a rear groove acts like independent car suspension, adapting to rough and varying surfaces. Vezor costs 180 euros and completes Rossignol’s trail running collection alongside Venosk, designed for door-to-trail use.
Venosk
These are lightweight, breathable, and cushioned “door-to-trail” shoes for progressive daily training. While they perform best off-road, Venosk is ready to tackle both on- and off-trail, with an excellent balance between fit, performance, and grip, ensuring maximum versatility. The generous toe box and quick-drying structure combine with a monoblock EVA midsole featuring Sensor technology to provide optimized cushioning, comfort, and support. With a reduced stack height and a 6mm drop, the Sensor outsole with exceptional grip and custom lug pattern allows you to run faster on any terrain, both at home and beyond. The injected EVA midsole cushions every step for lasting comfort, while the wedge heel design creates independent suspension for stability on uneven, changing terrain. The internal wrapping structure and toe protection shield against impacts with rocks and roots, while the Sensor3 inserts reduce pressure points, saving energy and improving underfoot comfort. The 28mm stack in the heel and the 6mm drop design offer a balanced differential between the toe and heel, ensuring an optimal combination of comfort and performance.

But Rossignol’s innovations don’t stop there! There will also be SS26 previews with a special focus on hiking and long-distance adventures. All that’s left is to discover it all at Riva!
