Road to ORBDAYS: Telethon and Jipe Moyo x Climbing for a Reason Take the Spotlight for Solidarity at the Fair
Telethon and Jipe Moyo x Climbing for a Reason will be the leading voices of solidarity at the ORBDAYS. MagNet is actively committed to supporting nonprofit organizations and virtuous initiatives by using its resources and expertise to promote their work.
In line with this commitment, during the Outdoor & Running Business Days, two dedicated spaces will be offered to Telethon and Jipe Moyo x Climbing for a Reason, giving them the opportunity to present themselves and raise awareness on issues of social and environmental importance.
Through these initiatives, MagNet not only promotes and gives visibility to valuable causes, but also supports projects that place outdoor activities at the center of personal and social empowerment.
Telethon

For the second year, Telethon returns among the exhibitors at ORBDAYS, with a space where the Foundation will present its research projects aimed at curing rare genetic diseases — and at the same time raise funds to support new ones.
Companies can benefit from tax deductions for donations, whether monetary or in kind. Telethon’s volunteers will be available to help businesses identify the most effective way to contribute.
The booth will also serve as an information point for organizations interested in donating and benefiting from the new tax reforms, which removed the €70,000 cap on deductible contributions.
Jipe Moyo x Climbing for a Reason

Next to the bouldering wall, there will be a space dedicated to Jipe Moyo, a center based in the Musoma region of Tanzania that focuses on protecting children’s rights. Founded in 2001, it is currently run by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Africa (IHSA). The center serves as a safe haven and support hub for vulnerable children rescued from FGM (female genital mutilation) and other forms of violence or abuse, such as child marriage, rape, torture, and neglect.
Since August 2022, Jipe Moyo has partnered with Climbing for a Reason, a Chilean organization that uses a passion for climbing as a foundation for humanitarian projects. After successful initiatives in Pakistan and South America, the project has now expanded to Tanzania, where volunteers teach children how to climb and work to promote areas like Musoma — rich in natural climbing walls — as potential climbing destinations. This could help generate economic growth and job opportunities for the local youth.
Thanks to this valuable collaboration, a global volunteering initiative has been launched, welcoming volunteers from all over the world and collecting generous donations to support empowerment projects and improve living conditions
