The athletes who will compete in the boulder contest at the Official Party by Polartec
Not only networking and business, but also the typical fun of outdoor culture.
From May 17th to 19th, at the trade show OUTDOOR & ORBDAYS in Riva del Garda, the guys from WorkLess Collective will also be present, and during the Official Party by Polartec on the evening of Monday 18, they will bring a mobile climbing wall for a boulder contest among athletes, to warm up the atmosphere before the dj set by Dj Aladyn.
A moment of collective support among some well-known names and promises of Italian and international climbing. And at the end of the competition, the boulders will be open to all party participants. Knowing the beta already!
The competition will follow the best trick format: each athlete involved will set a block, on which all competition participants, including the setter, will compete. The winner is the one who achieves the highest score based on movements, tops reached, and time taken. More points are awarded if the athlete completes a block set by someone else, and points are deducted if the athlete fails to complete their own set block. 
Confirmed Athletes
Nine athletes in total, four women and five men, will compete on the Workless Collective mobile boulder wall. The climbers are ambassadors and athletes of the brands present at the trade show, fueling some healthy competition among all party participants. Here they are:
Women
Eva Hammelmüller, Vibram – born in 2000, started competing at a young age: she placed fourth at the youth bouldering world championships, has been a nine-time Austrian youth champion (lead, boulder, combined) and a two-time European youth champion (lead, combined). Today she is working to become one of the best in the world. Specializing in lead climbing, in February she repeated WRC (9a) and in April Bombardino (9a+), in an ascent that has been ongoing for six years. 
Ludovica Merendi – born in 2022, engineering student, she can easily flip one climb after another in between of her exams, such as 8b lead routes (Liftscheisser, Atomic Frappé, Curing Dreams) and 8a boulder problems (Bitter Emotion).
Federica Papetti, La Sportiva – from Brescia, born in 2004, sport climber, is a regular competitor: in 2024 she won the Italian Boulder Cup, in 2025 she earned a podium spot, and in 2026 she triumphed against opponents like Laura Rogora. A name to remember in the competitive scene.
Celina Schoibl, Workless – Austrian with a love for lead climbing, youth climbing instructor for Austria Climbing, her completed projects include Sauron (8b), Gotik (8a+), and Saume sweet home (8a).
Men
Filip Schenk, SCARPA – born in 2000, professional climber specializing in lead sport climbing and rock climbing, earning him third place at the Chamonix World Cup in 2025 and in the same year the repetition of Erebor (9b), the route in Arco freed by Stefano Ghisolfi. A name already known among the promises of contemporary climbing.
Giovanni Placci, SCARPA – another well-known name among the new generations of climbers, Placci was born in 2001 and is a professional specializing in lead climbing: he also repeated Erebor (9b) in 2024, while in 2025 he made it to the finals in his debut at a World Cup competition in Seoul. For a couple of years, he has been working on Excalibur (9b+), always in Arco and freed by Ghisolfi.
Davide Zane, Brazz – very young, born in 2005, already active in the national U18 category, in recent months he has completed the boulders Story of two Worlds (8c), Vecchio Leone (8b), and is working on the project Alphane (9a).
Angelo Bonechi, EVOLV – very active boulderer, his achievements include blocks like Ogu Left (8b+), Octopus Sit (8b), and Aquila Volante (8a).
Paolo Vangi, EVOLV – lover of bouldering without neglecting lead climbing, Vangi can boast repetitions of boulders like Graceland (8b/+) and Part of the art (8a+), as well as various first ascents, such as the block Il Maestro (8b) and Scenario 4 (8b+/c).
